The Loan Guarantee Scheme (LGS) is designed to help small businesses - Under this scheme companies operating for 2 years or more can apply for loans of up to £250,000 with 2 to 7 years to repay. Small businesses recently set up can apply for loans up to £30,000. The DTI guarantees 85% of the outstanding balance. We participate in this multi million pound guaranteed loan scheme by preparing finance proposals, submitting them to the correct departments for approval and are paid a consultancy fee for our efforts.
